Salesforce Technical Lead (SC Cleared) 6 Months Mostly Remote - 2 days a month in London (Apply online only) per day (Inside IR35) My client, a government body are looking for a number of Salesforce Technical Leads to join their fast-paced team on an initial 6 month contract. Please note - Due to the nature of the organisation and the work involved, the selected candidate MUST have ACTIVE SC Clearance and be a Sole British National As a Technical Lead, you will operate as a senior technical authority within the Salesforce practice, partnering with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned to business outcomes. This role will lead technical workstreams across complex programmes, providing architectural oversight, engineering leadership, and technical assurance while mentoring delivery teams. Responsibilities on the role- Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within our Public Sector clients. Leading communication and stakeholder management, acting as the focal point between the client team and the development team (with support of other colleagues) Ensure scalable, best-practice solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations, ensuring the technical implementation conforms to project and industry best practices. Evaluate and translate business and technical requirements into well-designed solutions that effectively leverage Salesforce products. You will be responsible for low-level/detailed technical design including for; -Flows, -OmniScripts / Omni Studio Components -Apex (such as UML Class Diagrams or similar) -LWC components -Security Models (Permission sets, groups, etc) -Object Models / Entity Relationship Diagrams -Omni-Channel Processes You will contribute to high-level technical designs and approaches where relevant, with the support of a Solution or Technical Architect. You will contribute to the delivery of work items, where capacity allows. Identify and mitigate technical design risks, including ensuring compliance with Salesforce platform limits and governance models Collaborate with DevOps and Release Management colleagues, ensuring that software components are correctly packaged and delivered through the project pipeline. Strong knowledge of Git is expected. A good understanding of CI/CD pipelines is very beneficial, though the tooling used may vary from project to project. Act as technical authority across one or more programmes Collaborate with project and engagement managers to support work item estimation and planning in partnership with the client. Direct and mentor diverse teams in both technical and non-technical aspects, including communication strategies contributing to sprint demos. Own solution integrity, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and best practice design patterns Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards across your team(s) Provide guidance on integration patterns and approaches, often in collaboration with integration technical leads. Guide reusability, modular design, and technical debt management Articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Support pre-sales activities including solution shaping and technical input to proposals Contribute to internal growth through initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and the development of strategic assets. The ideal candidate will have the following background/experience- Familiarity with public sector regulations, compliance (e.g., GDPR, FOIA), and procurement processes. Knowledge of common public sector challenges: legacy systems, citizen engagement, case management, grants, licensing. Proficiency in Salesforce particularly Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions. Strong grasp of Data Cloud, MuleSoft, OmniStudio, and Agentforce for automation and integration. Experience with integration technologies, master data management, and familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). Ability to analyse, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integration. Demonstrated experience guiding customers and project teams in adopting emerging technologies for business use cases. The job on offer Reporting to the EUS Lead Group, the role will have Second Line responsibility for pre-empting (Automation), investigating and resolving Incidents. Completing IMACs and Requests where applicable; and assisting with Problem, Project and NSR Tasks assigned to the Desktop Support Team. The individual will also support Testing for the Evergreen Desktop service. The individual must be MoD SC Cleared or be capable of obtaining MoD SC Clearance. Are you an experienced infrastructure engineer looking for a "hands on" role? This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team of engineers, working within our Aerospace, Defence and Security sector (ADS) As our new Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the main point of contact (PoC) for all hardware and datacentre related matters. Responsible for the design and deployment of all hardware for a green field enterprise system, including the creation of design artefacts for datacentre, remote site hardware dispositions, rack layouts and network & power cabling schema. Ideally be skilled in the design, sizing, configuration and connecting of Network Attached Storage (NAS) arrays, including knowledge and experience of RAID standards, block and files storage, storage resilience and multi-site storage replication. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills. What you will be doing: Design a multi-site platform based upon commodity off the shelf (COTS) server, storage and networking hardware hosting Window Server and Client Operating Systems, VMware / vSphere Hypervisors and CISCO switch / router operating systems. Produce and maintain design artefacts, such as but not limited to Low-Level Designs, Release Notes, Platform Services related fail-over / disaster recovery instructions Documenting new procedures and review/update as required thought the delivery Assist in the management of Platform Services deployments through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to test and reference, through to the mission-critical production systems Provide input into the Event and Protective monitoring processes as relates to the hardware lights-out / remote consoles network connectivity Develop and maintain Client and third party supplier relationships as will be required to ensure the smooth delivery within the areas of responsibility Provide regular updates to the Technical and project leadership regarding all aspects of the Platform Services hardware delivery.
