We're looking for an energetic Account Director who is passionate about the world of retail and commerce to lead a flagship account in the mobile/telco space at this global advertising agency. It's a fast-paced, high volume account with a huge range of outputs - everything printed and digital in-store from POS to theatre, digital and campaign and seasonal window displays. We're looking for someone with relevant experience, a down to earth attitude, a laser eye for detail and teamwork orientated attitude. You would be reporting into a Business Leader, in partnership with a strategist and CD, and will have 1 or 2 Account Managers to nurture and develop. You would be responsible for the day to day direction of the account, checking that it is on track both in terms of delivery but also in terms of future planning. In addition you will need to understand the commercial realities of the business the client is in and spot opportunities to develop the agency's role. Through strong client relationships you would create an environment where the best work can flourish, ensuring clear and timely briefings from the client and the right resources from inside the agency. You will also need to create supportive environment for your direct reports, troubleshooting when they are unable to resolve issues, coaching and mentoring them, giving them enough room to grow, but enough guidance and support so they do not flounder.
