Network and Security Engineer

Network and Security Engineer My global client are recruiting for a Network and Security Engineer to join their team, you will carry out a variety of tasks including providing excellent technical and network support, ensuring infrastructure security is maintained. * CCNA/ CCNP Qualified * Experience with routing, switching, LAN/WAN/WLAN * Knowledge of SAN networking * Represent region in Global meetings. * Develop proposals for enhancing the regional network and regional security * Provide customer focused IT support to the region * Ensure that IT incidents requests are completed within business agreed Service Level Management Frameworks * Prioritise incidents * Ensure on-going Security and Network compliance * Perform prescribed network and security administration tasks. * Investigate, analyse and resolve any network and security issues/concerns. * Perform regular reviews and audits of systems, system logs, security logs and account management to ensure compliance with Policies and SOPs. * Notify ICT Business Solutions management of any security related incidents. * Maintain all network and security diagrams, inventories and documentation. * Use Problem Management tools and techniques to identify problems and provide resolution. * Monitor resolution of problems to ensure that Operating Level Agreements (OLA’s) are met and escalate to the Technical Support Manager when this is not the case. * Internal project work and Vendor lead project work.
