Technical Consultant - Colchester

Role: Technical Consultant – Colchester (plus travel to customer site as required) Package: £30 – 35K + comprehensive Employee Benefits A leading provider of IT software solutions requires a further Technical Consultant to join a small team based in their Colchester office responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of their market leading software. This is a busy team who take pride in ensuring implementations are recognised for being delivered successfully, on time and meeting the needs of each customer. This role would suit someone currently in the role of Data Analyst or Data migration specialist. You will be joining a growing business working in an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, career progression, flexible working, and a proper work/life balance You Will: * Take ownership of the data aspect of each implementation.Receiving and analysing customer data received in a variety of data formats. * Work closely with each customer, preparing and running the data mapping workshops * Act as Technical Lead on software implementations and provide technical support to customers and colleagues during the implementation process. * Be responsible for the loading of customer data during implementation Key Skills: * SQL database expertise, (development of complex scripts, views and stored procedures) * Strong MS Excel skills * Data analysis skills and experience – able to work with large volumes of data, often from various data sources * Highly analytical * Enjoys working closely with customers * Hold a full UK driving license * Understanding of XML, HTML and Web Services useful
