Technical Consultant (ETL) - Home based with UK travel as required Permanent £35 - 42K per annum + £3.9K Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits A leading provider of Technology solutions requires a Technical Consultant to lead on the implementation of a SQL server-based software solution with external clients. This is a great opportunity to join a small technically specialist team and take the role of technical lead on ongoing software implementations, migrating customer data to the new platform. The role is home based and will travel to each customer site as required during the various implementation phases, (i.e.. workshops to prepare for implementation and subsequent on-site post implementation support) The role: * Participate in scoping workshops with the Customers * As technical lead provide technical support throughout the implementation process * Provide remote and on-site consultancy to Customers * Be responsible for loading of customer data into the new system * Work closely with the implementation team on each customer project Essential skills required: * 5+ years SQL Server 2012 and upwards experience – particularly the development of complex scripts, views and stored procedures * Strong knowledge of SQL Server Integrations Services (SSIS) * Good ETL experience (Extract, Transform and Load) * Able to deliver workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences * Strong communication skills * Able to deliver to deadlines * Full UK driving license Preferable skills: * Any experience with Social Housing software * Software House sector experience * Prince2 or similar PM methodology * Understanding of ITIL
