Application Software Engineer

This opportunity is for a C# Application Software Engineer, keen to learn and contribute to the development of software applications on diverse platforms. You will be part of a growing team of highly skilled software engineers, developing advanced desktop applications in an agile environment. You will be joining a technology-focused audiovisual company, creating software applications to control innovative video display and networking products, with plenty of opportunity to work with new products/methodologies. Key skills: * C# desktop application development experience * Knowledge of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and programming principles * Experienced in a Windows OS environment * Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in either software or other relevant subject. Experience in one (or more) of the following is desirable: * UI development using WPF or WinForms * Network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) * Unified Modelling Language (UML) * Multi-threading and concurrency * Debugging, performance profiling and optimisation.
