Responsibilities include: Development, maintenance, execution and documentation of System and Business Process Test Plans and Test data. Reporting software defects and managing closure. Provision of User Training, End User Support, User documentation and Help files. The candidate must also be eligible for UK MoD clearance for access to the appropriate security level. MANDATORY SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Requirements based test design. Microsoft core packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experienced software tester Good communication and soft skills ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Level certificate in Software Testing or above. DESIRABLE SKILL REQUIREMENTS HP Application Lifecycle Management-quality centre Iterative Development Cycles experience Automated testing product experience (HP QTP, RANOREX) Working in a MoD environment Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Quality Assurance Processes.
