This Senior Software Design Engineer – Embedded C & C++ position is based in Hampshire and is working as part of a continually growing dynamic R&D focused business. The main purpose of this Senior Software Design Engineer – Embedded C & C++ job is to carry out software development activities in C and C++ for products under the technical guidance of a technical authority. Key Daily duties of this Senior Software Design Engineer – Embedded C & C++ position will include: • Programming in C and C++. • Design and development of low-level drivers and real-time applications for low-resource microcontrollers. • Design and development of kernel drivers for mobile platforms. Knowledge in the following areas would be very beneficial for the Senior Software Engineer – Embedded C & C++: • Experienced work with embedded systems using dedicated micro controllers. • Experience with SPI, I2C and USB communication interfaces. • Experience with Cortex-M0/M3/M4 micro controllers. • Experience with Secure Elements and secure operating systems.
