Job Description

Business Analyst / Business Relationship Manager – Surrey - £50,000 - £70,000 Are you experienced in understanding business needs? Have you worked to gather business requirements across different business functions, including internationally? Are you looking for more autonomy within your role? If so this could be a great opportunity for you. We are currently working to recruit a Senior Business Analyst/ Business Relationships Manager who will work with the business to understand their IT requirements, using a range of techniques to ensure these are documented. You will work across the business at all levels, working with business users to understand requirements and helping to shape the projects. This is a very business facing role and you will have full responsibility for all business analysis on projects, building excellent relationships to help support this. There is likely to be global travel with this role, working with the different business units and building up relationships to enhance your work. Processes will need to be defined and you will be responsible for supporting the stakeholders through this change, educating on the benefits of thorough analysis to the business and individuals. For this opportunity you will need to have worked in an immature environment previously, helping to implement best practice and working closely with stakeholders to manage them through the change process. Any international experience will be highly beneficial for this role. Previous experience of supporting testing solutions, system training material and the IT management team will be essential. You will have to be comfortable when working alone, acting on initiative and asking probing questions to ensure you are able to understand stakeholder needs and help them to understand possible resolutions. You will gather requirements using a range of techniques including one to one meetings, workshops; creating process maps, data models and process designs etc. The business uses a selection of methodologies to deliver projects so you will need to have experience of working with Agile, Waterfall and Prince2 and using this simultaneously depending on the project you are delivering. You will have to manage some third parties during this role so experience of this will be essential. Ideal candidates will have experience of working across a range of businesses and industries, being able to draw on this experience to help implement and shape the processes and frameworks which you will be implementing.
