Senior Data Analyst

Senior Data Analyst Location – Warwick Salary - £35,000 to £40,000 A large, fast paced company are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the established analytics team. Your main responsibility will be to perform analysis and to create specifications and quality assure other analysts in the team. This will provide strategic insight to facilitate the delivery of world class customer service and develop commercial potential of the data and insights. You will be working with other business areas to provide analysis and insight to improve overall business performance. Key Responsibilities * Complete complex data analysis with a variety of purpose for he business, including increasing knowledge and reviewing marketing campaigns and business process. * Support the team and wider business in advancing in its use of predictive analytics including data manipulation, mining, statistical analysis and modelling * Work closely with managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications, then make recommendations for improvements based on the result of analysis * Provide specifications for reporting and analysis to be completed by internal or external 3rd parties * Audit internal processes to understand process adherence * Perform ad hoc analysis of data in order to find the root cause of problems. Including thinking of new and innovative ways of using data for business improvement * Update, distribute and create new MI reports for the management team, including identifying and fixing errors in reports * Provision of accurate and current capacity forecasts to inform operation to deliver SLA response times * Support in the specification and testing of new Business Systems Skills required * Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access * Power BI, MS Azure ML and T SQL knowledge * Experience of communicating the processes of complex analysis to an audience with varying levels of understanding * Strong analysis and problem-solving skills * Experience of writing specifications and performing quality assurance on work of other data analysis * Any experience in Cognos is beneficial but not a must have This is the chance to develop your career with a forward-thinking business who are heavily investing into analytics.
