System Analyst

A major national provider of electricity, gas and water metering services, data collection and data processing services are seeking a System Analyst based in Newcastle upon Tyne to join its expanding Data Collection team. Underpinned by an absolute dedication to health and safety, the company’s strategy is to become a successful supplier of smart metering and associated services. You will gather an in-depth knowledge of the Data Collection side of the business and apply this knowledge to the new system. Focusing on continuous improvement, short-and long-term team planning, you will be responsible for managing the Field Service Management System and identifying and improving processes leading to an increased efficiency in both office and field delivery. As an Analyst, your daily duties will include: - Taking full control of the configuration and working with internal IT stakeholders to ensure upstream and downstream systems are incorporated. - Owning and Maintaining the configuration documentation. - Working with relevant stakeholders to interpret, document and implement all required/proposed changes. - Reviewing data outputs and workflows and proactively propose efficiencies. - Supporting with training as required. - Facilitating business change. To be a successful Analyst, you will have the following skills and experiences: - Experience in working with a Field Service Management (FSM) System or similar. - Understanding of CRM/FSM/Other Data Platforms. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint). - Experience with database configurations and reporting platforms. - Ability to gather and interpret business requirements. - An understanding of the organisation’s goals and objectives. - Reporting and SQL experience.
