Are you an experienced data management professional looking for a new challenge? I am currently handling an Integrated Management Systems Manager role with a waste management and recycling company at their site based in Lancashire, on a full time permanent basis. The Company: Our client is dedicated to the assessment, treatment and final disposal of waste, as well as providing consultancy, industrial clean-up, fuel storage services and chemical services. They are now looking for a career minded individual to join their SHEQ department in the role of IMS Manager. This is an extremely varied role covering many areas and would suit a professional with a keen eye for detail. A graduate from a chemical/ environmental based degree will be considered with an appetite for and proved experience of working with numbers and data collection/ management and interpretation. In return for the right candidate we offer a competitive salary as well as up to 10% bonus paid annually, as well as a mobile phone and laptop. The Location: The role is based at our client's site in Lancashire. The Role: The main purpose of the role will be to: - Implement and manage specific IMS programmes - Collate and manage data - Retain records & provide reports required to demonstrate compliance & performance - Management of the company's IMS programmes including sustainability, carbon footprint, compliance reporting - Management of IMS data, including verification & statistical analysis - Management of IMS reports & publications Your Background: To succeed in this role, you will have: - A degree or equivalent in a related discipline, or significant commensurate experience - Data management and reporting with the ability to accurately manipulate and communicate large data sets - Advanced user of excel (ability to create formulas, pivot tables & manipulate data) - Database super-user with the ability to interrogate data and utilise ODBC interface - Use and configuration of data base applications (SAP / Q-Pulse / Workbench) - Producing reports with particular attention to accuracy and detail ideally with a proven record of sustainability reporting - Reporting for obligated regulatory compliance schemes (Packaging / CCA / CRC) - Project Management of Carbon Footprint Studies - Operational knowledge of manufacturing or treatment processes, preferably within the chemicals, oil & gas or waste sector - Application of technical disciplines including chemistry or engineering would be desirable but not essential - Previous role within a health, safety, environment or quality would be desirable but not essential Please note that your CV should show exact dates of employment (month and year) and any gaps of a month or more should be explained.
