Due to continued company growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for .Net and C# Developers to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies based in Cirencester.
Working at the cutting edge of technology, this company creates more than 100 new inventions every year for customers in more than 100 countries. They employ approximately 3500 employees across 5 UK sites with a revenue of around £600million.
From their headquarters in Portsmouth, they support the Royal Navy in global operations delivering end-to-end support to over 50 per cent of the Royal Navy's surface fleet. Their services include ship upgrades, repairs, dockyard facilities management and provision of combat systems training. They also develop and support the Royal Navy’s complex equipment, such as radar, torpedoes and small boats.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing maintainable solutions to meet requirements.
* Integrating solutions with COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) products.
* Take ownership for developing, implementing and executing your delivery plan.
* Be involved in or create technical proposals and documentation.
* Provide mentoring to more junior developers in the team.

About You:
* .Net/ MVC/ C# commercial experience as part of a team
* A proven track record in .Net and C# Development
* Exposure to Oracle or MSSQL
* Demonstrable creativity and innovation in problem solving; applying solutions for the benefit of the customer.
* Self-motivated, with a strong drive for successful delivery of objectives.
* Good verbal, written, communication and negotiation skills.
* Experience in Java, HTML 5, ES 6, ReactJS is beneficial
* Experience of Agile is beneficial
