Job Description

A bright Technology Developer with a good understanding of Physics and Engineering principles is sought by the expanding Defence team of an innovative Consultancy. Ideally with experience of employment within an applied research institution, you’ll be confident with mathematical modelling and simulation, programming in C, C++, Matlab, Java or Python and have exposure to sensor technology. With a strong academic record to include Physics, Maths or Engineering, you will have the confidence to create new ideas and concepts; plan and conduct practical experiments using sensor technology; derive mathematical models for complex, real world systems as well as being able to present complex technical concepts in clear and concise language. Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following domains: Communication Systems, Radar Systems, Electronic Surveillance, Inertial Sensing Systems, Image / Video Processing, Acoustics / Sonar and Unmanned Systems. Applications are welcome from both Masters graduates ( with relevant project experience) and those with 2 – 3 years of post-graduate experience ( or PhD) with particular interest in anyone who is currently or has previously worked in an applied research institute such as a government laboratory. Due to the nature of some projects, UK Security Clearance is required so you must be either a British Passport holder or an EU Citizen with 5+ years recent UK residency
