Senior BI Developer

The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions. Mentor juniors, deputise for the Head of function, liaise with board, investors and colleagues across the business. Responsibilities · Translate business needs to technical specifications · Design, build and deploy BI solutions · Evaluate and improve existing BI systems · Collaborate with teams to integrate systems · Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses · Create visualizations and reports for requested projects · Develop and update technical documentation Skills sought Proven experience as a BI Developer Proven experience developing and maintaining ETL processes Ability to write complex queries in T-SQL A working knowledge across the MS BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) Analytical mind with good problem solving skills Ability to work under own initiative Ability to work as part of a team Other things to you can get involved in - Transitioning services to Cloud (Azure) Dimensional Modelling (e.g. Kimbell) Source control technologies (e.g. TFS, VSTS) Programming (e.g. .Net, Python) Key pointers – BI Development, Business Intelligence, BI Developer, T-SQL, TSQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Modelling, Azure, SQL Server, MI, Management Information, BI Reporting, database development, DBA, Kimbell, ETL
