Systems Application Lead

System Application Lead – Leicestershire Have you previously managed the integration for business applications? Do you have a good understanding for application configuration? Are you looking for a new challenge where you can make a difference to an application estate? If so this could be a great role for you. We are currently working with an industry leading business who are looking to build their IT team with an application specialist. You will work to support the core package business applications, offering hands-on management and configuration of the package applications, working with the internal teams to perform this work inhouse. You will assist with the new ERP configuration and once live support the delivery of improvement, business process change and any needed enhancements. We are looking for you to have experience in a similar role previously, supporting simple configuration and management of package applications. They are not looking for a developer or someone to build access applications from scratch for this role but more someone who is able to support the configuration of package applications with a technical understanding. We are looking for experience of working on ERP integrations, understanding how the programme works and full life cycle for integration and testing will be needed. You will be responsible for managing the package systems and applications, working on the configuration, implementation and integration through to support and improvements. The IT team within the business is only very small so you will need to be comfortable being hands on when needed as well as offering strategic support to the IT Director and the wider team. Experience of working with API technology, understanding architecture and Business Intelligence will be highly beneficial for this role. Alongside this you will have to support the business architecture, understanding how this can be simplified and when the ERP is implemented how this will fit with the current estate.
