Senior / Lead Java Developer - Software Engineer - Java Agile – New Tech - Bristol £45-70,000 depending on level / experience Are you a skilled Senior or Lead Java Software Developer / Java Developer looking for your next opportunity? If so this may be a fantastic role for you. We are working in partnership with an organisation in central Bristol who are looking to grow their development team in the Java space. You’ll be carrying out end to end software development using Java technical stacks, creating large scale and bespoke enterprise systems from scratch with a focus on high quality, high end software, all in an agile environment. These are interesting, state of the art projects including tech such as AI and analytics. If you’re working as a lead, you’ll also be taking a lead on the projects and within the teams including mentoring more junior developers and choosing technologies. This is a great role for anyone who is passionate about technology as you’ll be actively encouraged to experiment and work with a range of tools and languages, and keep up with emerging technologies. It's a hugely varied role - you'll never be stuck working on the same product with the same technologies. What skills does the Senior / Lead Software Engineer / Java Developer need? • Strong track record in hands on development using Java (at least 4 years for senior). Ideally you'll also have some front end experience, but this isn't essentiale • Experience working to Agile methodologies • Drive and interest in learning new technologies and developing your own skills is key • Excellent communication skills They can offer a relaxed, city centre office- easily commutable via train if you are coming from elsewhere.
