As part of the UX and UI team, you’ll be designing interactions for digital products, with a strong focus on detailed interactive behaviour that enables users to accomplish tasks as easily as possible, ensuring their music apps and software are the best of the best. From creating prototypes, carrying out user research and designing specifications, to testing, design reviews and shipping finished products, this is a role where you can truly see your ideas developed and released into the wild! The team are looking for like-minded UX Interaction Designers who are interested in or make music, have a diverse portfolio and want to deliver world-class interactive software experiences. What will I do in this job all day? - Design innovative interactions for music technology products - Analyse user needs and define architecture layouts, workflows and interactions - Produce high quality aesthetics for final designs - Create rapid prototypes to demonstrate ideas and concepts - Validate design concepts and carry out user research and testing - Take part in design reviews to make improvements and share ideas - Carry out detailed research to stay ahead in the industry and generate unique ideas The person I’m looking for – - Is familiar with music tech of any kind – mixing consoles, amps, speakers, synths, guitar pedals, DAWs…anything! - Has a diverse portfolio of UX and UI design projects that have shipped commercially - Knows about Agile workflows - Can explain design concepts to stakeholders and other team members - Likes to work collaboratively and has a creative, thoughtful approach - Is an active researcher who loves to stay ahead in design concepts and is always looking for new ideas If this sounds like you, please apply and I will contact you with further details if you’re successful.
