Technical Requirements: • Excellent planning and organisational skills • Excellent computer skills including Wordpress CMS, Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects) and Microsoft Office • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of Certification and Inspection industry an advantage • Experience in video editing an advantage Purpose of Job Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, the main purpose of the Web Designer/Developer is to maintain and update the existing corporate website and microsites. You will be expected to work with internal teams to help continually develop multiple websites and will be required to bring new ideas on how best to deliver communications though various media. Main Duties/Responsibilities • Maintain and update multiple websites • Develop and layout new pages from brief • Present design ideas • Both UX and UI • Mobile responsive design • Edit content and debug code • SEO • Visual imagery and video editing • Testing • Technical support • Lead internal training • Research current design trends • Competitor analysis • Manage QR Code library • Liaise with suppliers • Manage hosting and domain names Other Duties • Produce PowerPoint Presentations • Attend relevant training courses • Attend relevant internal meetings • Cover the duties/responsibilities of other team members when required Behavioural: • Professionalism, honesty and integrity • Calm under pressure • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally • Able to work on own initiative and is self-motivated • Results orientated • Customer focused with a good understanding of client needs and expectations Working Relationships Internal: • Frequent with line manager • Corporate Communications daily • Occasional with other BBA staff and stakeholders External: • Occasional with external specialists, trade and clients Wilde Associates is working in the capacity of an Employment Agency or Business for this vacancy
