Job Description
A 2nd Line Desktop delivery Engineer is required on a weekly rolling basis initially (likely to be up to 3 months long) based in Basingstoke.
Working for a well established organisation you will be located in the Desktop Delivery team which provides IT technical support.
you are required to have excellent IT Technical support skills. First class customer service skills are needed as you will be customer facing. You will be taking a variety of support calls, aiming to fix all technical issues remotely, by telephone or in person.
Essential experience:
- knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems,
-Active Directory,
-Remote Control Support Tools,
-PC / Laptop & Printer Hardware plus knowledge of Build Technology/Imaging Tools.
-Experience of using a computerised Helpdesk/Service Desk system and knowledge of ITIL processes are essential.
-Range of troubleshooting skills in wireless technologies relating to hardware and access points.
this role is to start ASAP and will be paying between £9.00 - 11.00(PAYE) + holiday pay and pension / 11.00- 13.50 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella) depending on the level of experience
