We have a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join the Management Information Department (MIS) of a well-reputed organisation within the education sector. The Data Analyst / Management Information Systems Analyst Duties: • The purpose of this role is to assist the MIS Data Manager and the Head of MIS in the management of the student database (EBS), the maintenance and support of the e-register and timetabling systems and provide active support as appropriate in ensuring the smooth operation of the MIS Department. Key Accountabilities: • Assist in the accurate and timely delivery of all required data returns (including Learner Responsive, Employer Responsive and Community Learning) • Acquire and maintain awareness of the latest regulatory requirements regarding SFA/EFA Rules & Regulations, Funding and Audit and cascade this to staff • Assist the Data Manager in ensuring the effective administration and organisation of learner record amendments, data cleansing and validation, timetabling and registers • Ensure that administrative processes are robust, produce accurate and timely data, and meet external audit requirements, including the management of data from external partners • Liaise with the other MIS staff to ensure effective reporting facilities are developed to identify problems with the data or supporting documentation • Maintain and support the e-register and timetabling systems • Support the Data Manager by following procedures for managing transfers, withdrawals and data cleansing processes • Working effectively with Curriculum Managers to ensure that timetabled hours are accurate to reflect the Curriculum Plan • Assist the Data Manager in the optimisation of EBS including the design and customisation of EBS screens We can offer solid career progression, a privileged working environment plus excellent benefits Sound interesting?
