Software Architect

Our Cambridge based client is seeking an experienced Software Architect, who possesses a wealth of previous experience of software engineering using Java, to play a key role in all of their software development activities. The Lead Software Architect will be responsible for the overall design of software applications, so will need to have significant experience of software architecture and implementing software solutions within an Agile environment. The existing development team are very Java focused, and the client is looking for the Software Architect to not only take lead in the design of their applications, but to also assist in their roll-out, mentoring for the software developers where necessary, hence the need for a strong hands-on development background using Java. This opportunity is all encompassing, which presents the perfect opportunity for a passionate technologist.
