SENIOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT / ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE Salary: £95-100,000 Basic Salary + 25% Bonus + Excellent Staff Benefits Our Client is an exciting Corporate Blue Chip Group of Companies that after many years of global success and as a result of an aggressive commercial growth & investment strategy, are undertaking several major Business Systems Transformation & Implementation Programmes. They are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Solutions Architect to work on a Portfolio of Development Projects with Key Stakeholders across their Shared Services Global Business Operations Key Responsibilities of Senior Solution Architect role will include: •Lead Technical Development Projects across the Portfolio Initiatives •Planning & Decision Making in Programme / Projects & Services •Establish Strong Relationships with Business Units & Customer Groups to Develop Understanding of Business Priorities •Assess & Review Architecture Work in Programme / Projects / Services & their Strategic Aspects •Use Specialist Knowledge & Understanding of Supported Business Areas to Drive Solutions to Issues & Challenges Faced By Customers •Lead & Develop Solution Architecture Capability (Methods, Processes & Best Practices etc) •Lead Solution Evaluation & Selection Decisions, Project Estimations, Creation of Business Cases •Lead Architecture & Design of Solutions for Business Units that Meet Business Requirements Aligned to Enterprise Architecture •Innovate & Test New Technologies Relevant to Business Units & Portfolio, including POCs, Assessments & Business Case Development •Ensure Architecture Decisions Support Both Business & IT Strategy & Compliant with Standards & Roadmaps •Guide Architects, Engineers & Third Party Suppliers) in Development & Documentation of IT Architectures for Complex Business Critical Projects •Support Business Analysis & Business Process Analysis as part of Solution Design Process Key Skills & Experience of Solutions Architect Required: •Strong Solution Architecture experience, ideally in either Financial or Development Domains •Able to Produce Technical Solution Documentation & Assessments •Enterprise Architecture Skills: Use Case Modeling, Business Process Modeling, Technical Requirements Definition, Service Design, System Design, Solution Design, Benefits Analysis, etc •Experience in System Performance & Load Testing & Trouble Shooting •Experience with AGILE Development Methodologies & Tools •Experience in working with External Suppliers •Excellent Influencing & Innovation & Collaborative Skills •Ability to Make Decisions Under Pressure •Ability to Shape & Drive Strategies & Plans •Self-Starter with Drive, Energy, Resilience Searches: Senior Solutions Architect / Solutions Architect / Senior Technical Architect / Technical Solutions Architect / Solution Architecture / Business Analyst / Software Engineering / Project Management / ERP / SAP / ETL / Warehousing / Master Data Management UI Design / Data Virtualisation / REST / Cloud Architecture / Cloud Solutions / Information Integration Architecture / Collaboration Architecture / Document Management / SharePoint / Mobile Solutions / IT Security / Enterprise Architecture Locations Suitable for the role will include: Cambridge / Cambridgeshire / Huntingdon / Bury St Edmunds / Sudbury / Lavenham / Halestead / Baldock / Bedford / St. Neots / Great Cambourne / Trumpington / Saffron Walden / Haverhill / St. Ives / Royston / Newmarket / Hertfordshire / Bishop’s Stortford / Letchworth / Braintree
