Cambridge – Senior Software Engineer - £45K-£50K + excellent benefits My client is a market leading, global provider of software solutions for the digital television device market is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop the next generation of platforms for the delivery of the TV user experience. This is an opportunity to work as a Senior Software Engineer in a dynamic team to make a difference and contribute to the growth of the company. Main Responsibilities; + Develop, test, debug and maintain software to ensure all code is portable, robust, efficient and maintainable + Mentor and guide the rest of the team. + Analyse, investigate and improve platform performance Skills/experience needed; + Software development on, or for, Linux platforms + Excellent Embedded C experience + Developing using Test-Driven Development (TDD) The salary for this position will be circa £45K-£50K depending on experience.
