System Engineer

System Engineer - East Midlands - Permanent - PLC Software - SCADA - £35-42k + package Samuel Frank Associates require a System Engineer with Rockwell FactoryTalk View and Allen Bradley PLC ControlLogix 5000 experience to work on cutting edge projects for a client in the East Midlands. The successful hire will ideally have worked on both FactoryTalk View SE & ME and programmed using Ethernet communications. This System Engineer opportunity could suit an Engineer with 5-10 years experience looking for a new challenge. Key responsibilities include – Development of electrical and software documentation encompassing all aspects of systems design work such as FDS, P&I, IO List, C&E, FDS, FAT, SAT and Manuals. Writing / drawing / reviewing the technical content of all aspects of systems software and hardware engineering and design, the production of engineering documents and software engineering assistance for start-up and commissioning assistance. You will have worked on SCADA systems and have a strong track record of working on a permanent basis before. If you have worked in the Nuclear, Chemical or Gas processing industry before then that would be beneficial but not essential. System Engineers who have worked on distributed architectures using multiple HMI Servers, Data Servers and Directory Servers will be considered favourably.
