Software Engineer

Amoria Bond are currently looking for a contract Embedded Software Engineer to work on a 6 month contract role with a strong chance of extension for several years. The role is based in the Midlands working on full life cycle software engineering in the automotive sector for hybrid vehicle control units. This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for the embedded software design and delivery across the entire project. Essential skills required from the successful Embedded Software Engineer: * Full lifecycle software experience from the initial design through to coding and testing * AUTOSAR * C or C++ * CAN * MISRA-C * Embedded Systems * Automotive industry experience Due to the nature of this position, the successful Embedded Software Engineer will have extensive experience of communicating effectively within a large team environment from Hardware through to Test Engineers as well as being able to quickly understand and define specifications from discussing with the customer.
