Software Development Manager

Position: Software Development Manager Salary: Circa £60,000 Location: Bristol Sector: Marketing & Advertising An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and manage the Development team at a leading Marketing and Advertising agency based in the centre of Bristol. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will be jointly responsible for managing a development department of 8 developers that work in an Agile Scrum methodology, and will take responsibility for the software development strategy, implementation roadmap, technical thought leadership and line management of the team. Experience Required: * A strong hands-on technical background working with the Microsoft .Net stack * Proven experience of managing similar sized development teams. * Microsoft Technology Stack - (url removed), C#, (url removed), SQL Server. * Experience working within the Agile Development methodologies * Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team of developers to drive success * Able to communicate processes with non-technical staff effectively * Experience working a similar role in the Marketing & Advertising sector is preferable but not essential.
