As an integral member of the Software Development Team the Tester will be responsible for all aspects of testing and quality assurance for the applications produced by the team. This also includes C++ desktop applications and new data visualisation software based on HTML 5 for web browsers and tablets. Become a super-star Tester * As Tester you will take full responsibility for all testing, using your excellent people skills to manage the test team when required * Leave no stone un-turned when performing tests and documenting results, taking note to raise change requests and bug reports * Be efficient in developing and documenting test conditions, scripts, data requirements and expected results for the company software * Take charge of quality control of client releases and updating documentation when needed. What does it take to become a Tester? * You'll have all round experience of running the full software development lifecycle from a testing view, working on projects that used Waterfall and Agile development methods * You'll need strong testing experience on commercial software packages that cover web and desktop applications * You'll be a team player in a collaborative environment whilst being self-reliant and hard working.
