Software Architect / Lead Developer / Major Oxford StartUp

Summary: Reqiva are working with a major life science and analytics company based in Central Oxford, they require a software architect to join their team, you will hold responsibility as the lead software developer, taking ownership of projects, mentoring other developers and playing a key role in the future development strategy and overall technology direction of the company. Tech Stack and Skills Required: * Proven experience as a Python developer or using Python as a secondary language in a commercial environment. Desirable experience in R and C++ * Experience in an Agile development environment though with a pragmatic approach to development strategy * An advocate for DevOps and continuous delivery, release/deployment automation * Understanding of the challenges involved in managing large and complex datasets. * Enjoys responsibility both in terms of technical strategy and influencing people.
