Software QA Analyst (Web, Mobile, Digital Applications) Salary: £30K - £40K Basic + Benefits Location: London, Central. Are you passionate about product quality? We are looking for a creative problem solver to assure the quality of a wide range of applications. You will work on applications for external clients as well as internal products. QA Specialists work closely with both internal and external software developers and product management to understand and clarify requirements, design test scenarios, execute test cases, document test findings, and follow through on the lifecycle of defects. We`d mostly be looking for…. - Passion for quality assurance of end-user applications - Ability to understand and clarify requirements, and design test scenarios - Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person - Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality issues - Willingness to help others as well as to be helped - Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and domains - Motivation to satisfy customers by contributing to overall product quality - Familiarity with Java/J2EE, .NET/C#, database and Internet technologies - Experience developing and executing manual and automated test suites - Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution - Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies - Experience working in a variety of programming languages and environments - Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, usability testing, performance and security analysis - Experience testing web-based and desktop applications Above all though, we are looking for bright, passionate, detail obsessed & client focussed individuals to join a young & energetic team working across modern web, mobile, digital & desktop applications
