Principal Software Engineer

Principal Software Developer – Norwich, Norfolk - £45-50k plus package I am looking for a Lead/Principal Developer to provide subject matter expertise, guidance and mentoring of the development team and deputise for the Development Manager in their absence. Key Duties Responsible for the coding standards of the department and ensuring they are applied Responsible for exploring and delivering tools and frameworks to be used by the department To act as an example to everyone in the development team so that they are confident we can do things right rather than feeling pressured to cut corners Review and improve on existing systems, making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek continual improvement for existing systems Provide high level guidance and direction on project work, making sure that new projects fit in with an overall strategic vision Create designs for assigned development activities and contribute to major technical design decisions on projects Defining the overall solution architecture of the product/portfolio ensuring customer needs are met and that feedback is positive. Skills required AT least 5 years Development experience including mentoring of more junior team members C#, (url removed), MVC Entity Framewotk/Code First HTML5, CSS, XML Javascript/Angular Unit/Acceptance Testing
