Function 22 is working with a leading media software company who specialise in the delivery of cloud based campaign management tools, improving media planning & buying at a global scale. The business are a product company at heart and have a very strong reputation for excellent software development, alongside an impressive client base including some of the world’s largest media & marketing companies.
The company are building their in-house development function and are looking for junior engineers to train and mentor. You will join one of their featured based development teams and after getting up to speed, you’ll be expected to take on full product features – from feature kick-offs, through development, to testing, showcase & investigation of 2nd line support issues.

Requirements:
• A firm foundation in core computer science principles. You'll need to know your abstract from your generic, and your model from your view.
• It's important to have a methodical approach. You should be a clear analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems.
• Communication is key to the way they work. People who can explain themselves clearly (to people in different areas, as well as other engineers) will go far.
The right person will be able to quickly learn their tech stack, but any experience (personal or commercial) in the following would be a bonus:
o .NET technologies (.NET 4, WebAPI, LINQ, Entity Framework)
o SQL experience (MsSQL/Oracle/MySql/Postgres)
o Modern front end technologies, including React, Flux, Webpack, Gulp
o Application architecture (n-tier, SOA, event driven)
o Cloud based infrastructure
o Git
