Helpdesk Analyst / Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support Analyst / 2nd line Support Analyst - Birmingham, West Midlands - Tamworth, commutable from Sutton Coldfield, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Lichfield, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Derby, Birmingham - Permanent - £18K- £22K + Benefits including Qualification Allowance A dynamic IT services organisation experiencing further expansion are seeking to recruit a number of Helpdesk Analyst / Service Desk Analyst to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to external customers. You will resolve issues with the following technologies:- * Windows 7 /8 * MS Office and customers bespoke applications * Active Directory, Group Policies * MS printing, workstation and peripheral hardware * MS Terminal Server and Citrix * Windows Server 2003 and 2008 * Exchange 2003 and 2008. Previous experience must include:- * Experience of providing 1st and 2nd line support to either internal or external clients. * Technical support experience with Windows Server 2003 or 2008 or 2012 * Experience with / of MS Terminal Server or Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop etc * Active Directory, Group Policy * Excellent communication skills It would be beneficial for you if you had experience in the following:- * DNS / DHCP / TCP/IP) * Firewalls, VPN * Linux * SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 * Certifications in Microsoft MCTS, MCITP, MCSE or Citrix CCA This is a very exciting time in the organisations expansion, so if you want to work for an organisation that values their employee's and that offers a relaxed but focussed environment, then please apply below for further information.
