PHP Developer – Newcastle - £35k

PHP Developer - Newcastle - £35k PHP / JavaScript / OOP / SASS / HTML / CSS / SQL My client based is Newcastle is a company which is owned & led by a developer! They are recruiting for a Full Stack Developer (PHP, HTML, CSS, OOP) to be involved in leading technology & push the development in new areas. If you want to work with cutting edge technologies like EmberJS & Amazon Web Services, load balancing etc. then this is the company for you! They are looking for someone with a mix of the following, * Knowledge and experience of PHP5 / PHP7 with at least one major PHP Framework (Laravel, Symfony) * Knowledge and experience with at least one JavaScript framework (i.e. Ember, Angular, etc) * Knowledge of CSS & HTML5 * A strong knowledge of SQL / MySQL and ORM systems (Doctrine / Eloquent) * Experience with OOP practices * Worked within an agile development team * Experience with GIT version control (and possibly Github) Preferable would be: * Knowledge and experience with pre-processors (i.e. SASS, LESS, HAML, CoffeeScript, etc) * Interest in new technologies (ES6, AngularJS, EmberJS, etc) * Experience with other relational databases to include PostgreSQL * Node technologies (i.e. NPM, Gulp, Grunt, etc) If you have a passion for learning new skills and think you have what it takes to work on both Frontend and Backend projects, then this is definitely the position for you
