Java Developer - Chester - Up to £430/day - 8 months My client are looking for experienced Java developer to work on producing Restful services in Java. The role will involve mainly back-end web services development on new and existing systems. Based in Chester, they need a Java developer with back-end web-services development experience and confidence in implementing new methods. The right developer would have the ability to work to an agile approach within the development team. Experienced required: * Strong JAVA back-end development experience and excellent understanding object orientated principles. * Experience working to and implementing agile methodologies including TDD. * Have understanding and work experience using Java Spring and RESTful Web services. * Experience using micro-services and ability to use build tools for automated build and deployment. * Any exposure to AWS and DevOps would be desirable but not essential * Understanding of other programme languages like NodeJS or Groovy would be useful but not essential. They are looking for developers to start ASAP and initial telephone interviews are scheduled to take place this week. For the right Java Developer they are happy to pay up to £430/day and although the contract is initially for a 8-month period, the likelihood to extend is very high.
