Following a successful year, this fast-growing, extremely well-funded and evolving start-up in Cambridge is looking to further expand their team and have instructed us to recruit a Cloud Software Engineer to join their team of developers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and growing industry sector delivering up to date cost effective technology to the healthcare industry. Their products are particularly aimed at improving the healthcare and lives of some of the poorest and remote communities in the World.

Role Overview
You will possess knowledge of all aspects of cloud computing and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud storage, infrastructure, platforms, security, and data. The cloud software engineer will be involved with the design, development, and documentation of front and back-end components. The position will be strongly involved in the architecture and design of systems, including writing code and building a proof of concepts as well as reviewing and comparing alternative technologies. A strong interest in data analytics and data visualisation would be desirable for the ideal applicant.
This role may suit an academic/scientific minded individual keen to join a group of academically high achievers who want to build an ethical software business that will deliver products that will truly benefit society. We would welcome applications from high-achieving graduates with a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or related subjects. A strong preference for applications from Software Engineer / Developer candidates looking for their 2nd career move is welcome.
