Skills / Environment Cloud Computing Working with large datasets and a variety of coding languages Data Analytics or visualization R programming Role Overview You will possess knowledge of all aspects of cloud computing and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud storage, infrastructure, platforms, security, and data. The cloud software engineer will be involved with the design, development, and documentation of front and back-end components. The position will be strongly involved in the architecture and design of systems, including writing code and building a proof of concepts as well as reviewing and comparing alternative technologies. A strong interest in data analytics and data visualisation would be desirable for the ideal applicant. This role may suit an academic/scientific minded individual keen to join a group of academically high achievers who want to build an ethical software business that will deliver products that will truly benefit society. We would welcome applications from high-achieving graduates with a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or related subjects.
