Front End / UI Developer - HTML, CSS, JavaScript Location: Cambridge £35,000 - 45,000 My client are a software company in Central Cambridge who are leading the way in developing "Big Data" analysis software. Large companies are now able to gather more data about their consumers than ever; however the challenge is in how their harness this data and use it for commercial benefit. The software solution developed allows companies to see key trends in their consumer data and use it for marketing or anti-fraud purposes. You will build beautiful & compelling web interfaces to summarise data science project results. Designing interfaces that communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging way, to both technical and commercial users. Speaking directly to end users and subject experts to understand underlying requirements. You will come up with innovative ideas to solve business problems with a great user experience. Deliver new features, from specification, through development, QA and into final deploy. As this role will be mainly front end development we are looking for a Web Developer with good experience in the following: - HTML(5) / CSS(3) - Strong JavaScript skills - JavaScript Frameworks - Angular.js/ React/ Ember - Understanding of UX principles - Knowledge of languages such as Python, Ruby, Java (advantage) - A comprehensive visual design portfolio you can provide is required.
