PROJECT: A global organisation in Stockport, South Manchester have an immediate requirement for a 1st/ 2nd Line IT Desktop Support Engineer. Interviews are to take place this week. THE ROLE: 1 Provide 1st& 2nd level IT support to employees covering hardware (Laptops), Operating System (Windows 7) and Microsoft Application support (Office, Outlook, etc..). 2 User account administration and management on Active Directory 3 Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment and provides backup support to the Network Administrator as needed SKILLS REQUIRED: 1 Excellent Customer Service & Communication (verbal & written) and organisation skills 2 Excellent technical knowledge of client hardware 3 Excellent Windows 7, Microsoft Outlook and Office 2010/2013 support experience 4 Active Directory experience 5 Self-confident, analytical and problem solving skills 6 Able to work in a team environment 7 Able to manage time effectively and set priorities appropriately To apply for this position please submit a copy of your up to date CV.
