IT Business Analyst

We have a great opportunity for a technology savvy Business Analyst to work on a business transformation/benefits project for a major rail organisation, based in Milton Keynes. This is an initial 4 month contract. Duties will include collating and analysing Business Information identifying benefits, working alongside external and internal resources, developing business cases for change initiatives, focusing on people, processes, information and technology, rather than a pure technology focus. the BA will also be working with a team on a blueprint to identify overall project objectives. The BA will also be engaging with stakeholders, compiling information, plus other project focused duties. Successful candidate will have demonstrable Business Analysis experience in a challenging Business Transformation project in a technology environment, as well as business process and data modelling experience, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, the ability to think holistically rather than technology focus, with experience of IT consultancy approaches, tolls and methods. An ISEB diploma would be desirable, as well as prior knowledge of the railway industry, but not essential. We have a fair and comprehensive selection procedure.
