ERP Technical Support Specialist - £40,000 - £45,000 per annum - Role based in Hammersmith - Great benefits package which includes; bonus, medical and dental cover, life insurance and pension A global technology organisation at the heart of enterprise software and information solutions are recruiting for an experience ERP Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic and growing customer care team within the Hammersmith offices. You will be responsible for providing high quality technical support to clients using Maconomy ERP application. Scope of the role: The Maconomy ERP Technical Support Specialist works in a team environment and interacts directly with customers to find resolutions to technical issues relating to Maconomy. This is a challenging role and requires a high degree of technical knowledge over a broad range of areas. To bring problems to a resolution the Maconomy ERP Technical Support Specialist will be required to think creatively when facing new problems, work closely with other teams (Engineering / Development and Consulting teams), and prioritise workload in a fast paced environment. Skills and experience required: - This is a client facing role so superb customer service skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills are required - It is essential that you have strong ERP technical support experience – in an ideal world it will be Maconomy but we will also look at; SAP, Oracle Financials, Agresso and Microsoft Dynamics - It is essential to have SQL or Oracle database server experience - Experience trouble shooting Database / ERP application issues - Excellent time management skills - the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision - Knowledge with an object oriented language such Java - Knowledge of a common scripting language (Powershell / Visual Basic) – desirable - Experience working with XML or M-scripting (Maconomy proprietary language) - Broad range of analytical skills - Understanding of Windows Server or Linux Server configurations - Basic technical skills in large scale Enterprise Application / Server environments - Basic technical skills in database structure + performance - Experience with Business Objects Web Intelligence and/or Xcelsius – desirable
