Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic web developer to join an established web development company.
The role requires commercial front-end experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript), and also at least some familiarity with back-end development (preferably .NET).
We are a small business so you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities. This includes development, but may also include:
- Managing PPC campaigns
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Meeting clients
- Assisting with proposals and quotes
Good communication skills essential. You must be able to provide support to non-technical clients over the phone and via email.
This is a great opportunity to be a key member of a small team in a relaxed organisation. Salary dependent on experience.
Skills:
- HTML/CSS/JS & responsive design techniques
- Back-end web development (.Net)
- Database knowledge (SQL)
- Windows Server support (OS & IIS)
- Good communicator
- Problem solver who likes to learn on the job
- Keen to learn new skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Accurate time-keeping and estimating
Non essential, but desirable skills:
- Web standards and accessibility
- XML, XSLT
- Web Services
- Basic Photoshop and design
