Application Support Analyst - SQL - SCRIPTING Bristol 37k Ideal Candidate: End-users will be internal customers, such as operations, compliance development team, business intelligence, finance and other business teams as appropriate. Experience of providing Application Support and remote systems support to end users, a robust knowledge of SQL combined with C#, PowerShell scripting experience alongside understanding of coding would be really beneficial to be successful in the role. Responsibilities: Log support calls and document their outcome to facilitate the resolution of common queries. Trouble-shoot, analyse, develop and apply BAU configuration changes and updates across applications as needed and liaise with other business departments and suppliers to maintain systems integrity, or Redirect or escalate support requests to the appropriate Dev team or relevant third party supplier. Collaborate with third party suppliers to supply system updates and resolve issues Pro-actively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support calls. Administration of users and setup of new accounts in ePortfolio and related systems. Assist in providing reports and creating report templates for users using SQ/Excel/SSRS working with the BI team Assisting Testing new functionality as it becomes available Assisting in new feature specification and design through liaison with other business department and the external third party suppliers in new development requests (for example, Dynamics CRM, Fuse, Pulse) Maintain and administer the software systems including CRM, local ERP, SharePoint, TFS, intranet systems.
