Web Analyst - Welwyn Garden City

Web Analyst As a Web Analyst you will be reporting to the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for providing actionable insight of the web performance and by using cutting edge technology measuring stores sales influenced by an online journey. Key responsibilities include: •Analysing consumer behaviour, conversion data, customer journeys, and basket funnel analysis •Provide measurement and reporting on all digital marketing campaign activity and where required use available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign performance issues •Utilising marketing leading technology to track store sales back to the relevant digital marketing campaigns •Delivering regular reporting, analysis of the web performance and from this determine actions required to drive the business and sales forward •Monitor competitor activity and keep team up-to-date with rival’s promotional activity and website activity using the relevant tools such as Experian Hitwise •You will be identifying new ways to generate online revenue based on your analysis •Create a meaningful weekly online/web dashboard for the online team •Creating ad-hoc reports for the online team to assist with them with trading of the website The ideal candidate will have: •Ideally looking for a Web Analyst from a retail background •Excellent analytical skills •High level of experience in advanced Excel •Strong knowledge of Google analytics and ideally Google Tag Manager •Experience and knowledge of SQL highly beneficial •Knowledge of attribution models would be advantageous •Experience of using Hitwise would be beneficial •A sharp eye for detail with accurate grammar and spelling is a must •Highly organised and diligent with a capacity to work on multiple projects at the same time •Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing business reports and presentations •Excellent communication / interpersonal skills both written and verbal
