Marketing Analyst

Salary: Up to £30k, depending on experience

We are working with a high achieving marketing, data and technology consultancy firm who have established themselves as a world leading organisation within these fields. IBM recognised them as the best in the industry in the use, delivery and training of their marketing software when working with clients. They work with leading global brands and businesses to deliver assistance on a diverse range of projects.
They are looking for a marketing analyst to build targeted campaigns and provide insight to internal marketing teams and stakeholders after the completion of a campaign cycle. There is great scope for development for the successful candidate; our client's aim being to grow and develop that candidate over time into a consultancy role within their company. Occasional travel throughout the UK will be a part of this job, primarily to a major city in the South West of England, all expenses will be paid for.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Creating targeted campaigns based on a variety of criteria (product usage, transactional data, etc.)
* Creating test & control scenarios in order to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns
* Maintaining and editing HTML email templates for broadcasting
* Deploying production campaigns in support of multi-channel marketing & sales programs
* Analysing campaign performance to establish best practices in campaign segmentation approach
* Interacting closely with internal marketing teams and various stakeholders, providing insight and developing marketing & sales programs
Essential skills required:
* Degree qualified, or qualified by experience, within (but not limited) to the fields of: Marketing, Business Information Systems or Data Management
* 6 - 12 months' experience in a marketing environment, internships or work placements also suitable
* Use of SQL, specifically the ability to query within SQL
* Good understanding of the requirements of an email marketing campaign
* Strong problem solving skills with excellent written & verbal communication, the ability to work independently or as part of a team and able to fit in with client culture and processes
* Ability to adapt to changing client requirements & priorities
