Trainee SQL Developer

Trainee SQL Developer - Stoke-on-Trent - £20,000- £24,000 - 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Free Car Parking Due to expansion our client is looking for a Trainee SQL Developer to join their small team of developers, supporting and developing routines for the SQL Server 2005 database. The successful SQL Developer will be highly motivated with previous experience in both SSIS and SSRS. As the Trainee SQL Developer, you will be: * Daily maintenance of SQL 2005 Database * Performance tuning and backup on a daily basis * Develop SQL database routines and reports * Assist with providing up to date and accurate statistics * Maintain, review and develop .Net based code * Liaising with clients technical departments to produce specifications, documentations and automated routines for the exchange of data and reporting * Evaluate and plan upgrades to SQL Server 2008 and investigate SQL Server 2012 The successful Trainee SQL Developer will have: * Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2003/2008 is essential * Experienced SQL Server 2005 / 2008 : Reporting (SSRS) Integration (SSIS) Analysis (SSAS) * Strong administrative & documentation skills * Good communication skills * Hardworking & committed to achieving results * Understands the importance of meeting deadlines and objectives * Team Player What are we offering? * Salary £20,000 - £24,000 * 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays * Free Car Parking * Good progression opportunities * Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week Application Process Once your job application has been received, this will be reviewed within 5 working days.
