An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join a global IT and Telecoms provider as part of the IT Asset management team. Responsibilities of the role will be: To work as part of a team to manage and support all Asset requests To act as first point of contact for escalated Asset requests on assigned accounts/customers To ensure all Asset requests are updated to the highest standards in order to provide accurate Asset Management reporting To regularly review account performance with Service Delivery Managers in response to requests of all types and to provide recommendations for service improvement Track all IT assets, their locations and owners throughout the Asset Lifecycle Administer the Asset Management Database and the Asset Inventory Production of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting as necessary Perform periodic asset discovery and audit tasks Prepare data for upload/updates Identify and track exceptions, reporting to respective resolver team for resolution Ensure asset processes are being adhered to The successful applicant will have strong data analysis and Excel skills to analyse data effectively, a methodical approach to work and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience of working in an ITIL environment would be a advantageous as would experience of SQL and MS Access
