AppSense Engineer

AppSense Engineer Erskine £400 - £420 per day World leading IT company are looking for an AppSense Engineer for an initial 6 month contract based in Erskine. Ideally you will hold current SC Clearance but if not must be eligible to go through the process. Fantastic opportunity for an AppSense specialist to become a key member of growing, hands-on IT design teams utilizing tools and techniques for Cloud, Open-stack and other technologies that deliver to multiple clients of national interest. Core Skills and Experience: + Specialist knowledge of the AppSense product suite over multiple product versions, including (but not limited to) AppSense Management Centre & AppSense Personalization Server in multiple datacenter, multiple site configurations. + Experience of design, implementation and support of AppSense solutions for multiple environments. + Good understanding of both traditional FAT and virtual environments, including the differences in the configuration and management of each. + Good understanding of Microsoft operating systems including a good working knowledge of the system registry. + Experience of cloud solutions - private and public. + Good working knowledge of associated technologies + Active Directory + Citrix + VMWare + App-V + Loadbalancers + Microsoft SQL Server + Experience of working with application packaging teams. + Ability to train support staff in supporting and troubleshooting AppSense deployments. + Experience of system migrations. + Experience of working within project life cycle frameworks. + Ability to take ownership of a large scale project and liaise with the customer to contribute to the technical design of customer solutions
