My client is a highly successful hosting organisation based in Reading that provides network management services to a global audience. Due to internal promotions they require an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer / Technical Consultant to join their Managed Service Team.
As a 3rd Line Support Engineer / Tech Consultant you'll be customer facing and responsible for leading technical relationships with my client's customers. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex networks and hosted solutions to ensure maximum availably of customer environments.
Key skills:
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience working within an enterprise, consulting or managed service provider environment
* In depth experience with Windows Server 2008 / Windows Server 2012
* VMware ESXi 4 / 5 / 6
The ideal candidate for this role will have in depth experience as 3rd Line Support Engineer and be interested in progressing into a hands-on consulting role where you'll also be responsible for technical service management looking at capacity management or service improvement.
