Our Bangor based client who are a leading software company are looking for an experienced Service Desk Manager with good technical knowledge to join them on a fixed term contract for 12 months. It is an exciting and friendly environment, with modern offices in a great location. * Main duties of a Service Desk Manager you will be responsible for: * Being the first point of contact to all clients query's * Providing a solution for any issues if you're able * Update or amend any marketing material * Referring support tickets to the correct teams * Managing team members time internally * Accurate time logging within projects * Making sure all query's get solved and back to the client in the time frame you quoted. To be successful in the role of Service Desk Manager you must: * Have good technical awareness and be computer literate * Good project management skills * Ability to multi task and prioritise job * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Excellent time management skills * Confident in managing people * Able to work well under pressure * Must be assertive and able to deal with demanding clients * Basic knowledge of SQL would be highly desirable. This is to run the service desk for a fast paced company, it is essential as the Service Desk Manager that you are able to build and maintain relationships, be organised and able to multi task.
