Java Developer - Full Stack

Our client is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer to work in Chelmsford, Essex looking to pay £45-50,000 per annum. The established Java Developer will have strong experience working on the full software development life cycle, you will have solid experience working on front and back end development. The strong Java Developer will have experience working with Java ideally 1.6, Spring and JavaScript or Ajax or JQuery. Previous experience working with Struts 2, Maven, Tomcat, Eclipse and SQL 2012. Responsibilities: - Contributes during all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. - Develop & maintain software solutions using defined development tools, on time and within budget. - Produce and executes Unit Test Plans or provide other documented evidence of developer testing. - Write documentation as appropriate when requested. - Participate in reviews applicable to the Development lifecycle. - Provide mentoring to colleagues on tasks where you are better informed. - Work with team members to resolve software and quality problems. - Work within the company `Quality` procedures. - Advise software testers on System, Regression and User Acceptance Test plans. - Follow all procedures or Work Instructions applicable to your role. - Understanding of and works to project plans. Technologies: - Java (version > 1.6) - Struts2 - Frontend development with JSPs / CSS / Javascript / Ajax - Portlet Development based on JSR 286 and JSR 168 - Java script Technologies (i.e. Ajax, JQuery, etc.) - ESB / JMS (i.e. Mule) - Webservice Technologies (REST / SOAP) - SQL via Java JDBC - Unit Testing (i.e. TestNG) - Spring framework - Maven - Eclipse IDE Mars Please apply for details
